Field

Dublin was bred to hunt.

His grandfather, Fieldplay's Malwyd Return ' "JJ" was a famous sire of hunting dogs, and having this hunting instinct was one of the reasons that I selected Dublin.

I wanted a beautiful hunting dog.  What is that old saying?  "Life's too short to hunt over an ugly dog!"  Then I met Angela Uzdilla, who had some of the most beautiful show dogs I have ever seen.  Her dogs always looked so happy in the ring.  Lo and behold, it turned out that her dogs were sired by none other than "JJ".  When I watched Dublin's mom Kayla go Best in Specialty from the classes, I asked if she would put me at the top of her list when she bred Kayla.

I am VERY happy with my choice!

Dublin finished his Junior Hunter title this fall.  He is a very big-running dog, who methodically works the bird field and repositions himself into the wind when needed.  He is holding long steady points.  He is an absolutely beautiful sight to see in the field.
